St Catherine’s Park, Kildare

Time: 50 minutes.

Distance: 4km.

Equipment: Runners.

Families: The woodland trail is not suitable for buggies.

Rating: 3.5 stars.

On a cold wet Sunday we decided to take on a straightforward park walk and St Catherine’s park fit the bill. It was a very enjoyable walk meandering between the trees and then alongside the gushing waters of the Liffey river. The woodland trail is easy to follow. The map is on an information board at the start and the trail is marked out with blue walking men along the way.
