This mountain has taken the spot as our favourite hike of 2019! It provides an adventurous and somewhat challenging day out and the scenery is breathtaking. The route is described well on the wicklowwalks website and although it is relatively straightforward to follow, there is a good mixture of terrain including stepping stones at river crossings and uphill grassy paths to keep you on your toes. The views over the heart-shaped Lough Ouler are spectacular and the summit offers rewarding views of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains. This is not one to be missed!
