After failing at our previous attempt at bagging this peak due to horrendous weather, we were delighted to return for a second round. The weather was kind to us and the mountain provided an adventurous day out. The path detailed in Kieron’s book is the most straightforward and it was fairly easy to navigate – just be sure not to get distracted by smaller grassy paths which can lead you astray. The clouds rolled in as we approached the trig pillar making it difficult to find, but we’re glad to say we did it! A highly recommended hike – we’re sure to return for round three some day!
