Reference –

This was the busiest walk we’ve done in a while. The carpark was rammed and there were lots of people along the trail. It was way marked but it would be easy to take a wrong turn as there are lots of forks along the route – chat away but keep an eye on where you’re going. We followed the red markers through the forest trail and then took a detour and followed the yellow wicklow way markers to get to the top of Maulin. It was a challenging but very doable walk. The scenery was beautiful with views of Powerscourt and the Wicklow mountains all the way to the sea.
